The Impact of Emblica officinalis on Altered Biochemical Markers and Oxidative Stress Indices After Sub-acute Enrofloxacin Treatment in Albino Rats

Background: The current study was conducted at the Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology to assess impact Emblica officinalis on oxidative stress produced by sub-acute enrofloxacin exposure in albino rats. Methods: Albino rats weighing 200-300 gram were given orally through gavage needle blood samples taken via capillary tube 28th day experiment analysed using laboratory procedures. Result: Sub-acute treatment Enrofloxacin doses 5 mg/kg b.wt. 10 generated rats, as evidenced substantial changes parameters affected liver kidney functions, seen biochemical markers function. aqueous extract (200 b. wt.) effectively reduces hepatic renal function caused enrofloxacin.
